Spring is almost here (so says the groundhog) and the activities which celebrate our pets are starting to roll-in.Â Here is just a sampling of some fun events. Mark your calendarsâ€¦.
1. Pucks -n- Paws
Bring your dog along to the Greenville Swamp Rabbits, Sunday, February 22nd.Â Hillcrest Animal Hospital is excited that our local hockey team is joining us in supporting the South Carolina Association of Veterinarians in our mission to keep pets and people safe in their vehicles.

In addition, $6 of each ticket will go back to funding Pet Vets for Seniors. This program provides low or no cost pet care for qualifying senior citizens.
2. Spa 4 Spays
Speak for Animals along with United Community Bank presents this annual event on March 12th at Zen in downtown Greenville.Â Enjoy a spa service, scrumptious food and drink, great silent auction and always fun Unique Boutique. 3. Mutt Strut
The 9th Annual Mutt Strut presented by the Greenville Humane Society will be on Main Street in Greenville on April 25th. Participants and their dogs will enjoy a 2-mile walk/run through beautiful downtown. The streets will be lined with entertainment including live music, caricature artists, face painters and more! 4. Tails & Trails
Race the trails (or go for a casual stroll) at Conestee Park side-by-side with your best running partner â€“ your dog! Whether youâ€™re racing with or without your four-legged companion or just walking the trail to support a good cause, Tails & Trails is fun for everyone. 5. Hillcrest Animal Hospital Kidâ€™s Club
If you have a budding veterinarian between the ages of 5 to 10, sign your child up for our popular Hillcrest Kidâ€™s Club. Throughout the year (Feb 23rd, May 17th & Sept 20th), Hillcrest Animal Hospital opens up our doors to show the inner workings of a small animal hospital.
